Eight days ago, a user on Reddit (via Yahoo!) posted a story about his dear friend, a lifelong Trekkie named Dan, who has been diagnosed with two forms of cancer. Dan and his wife went to see The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey hoping to see the Star Trek Into Darkness prologue, but unfortunately it wasn't screened with the show they saw.
